CCS Sings Stanford and Holst

Cheltenham Choral Society will be marking 100 years since the death of Charles Villiers Stanford, and 150 years since the birth (in Cheltenham) of Gustav Holst with a selection of their short songs. Our new President and renowned Mezzo Soprano, Catherine Wyn-Rogers will be singing Herbert Howells' 'King David' and our esteemed accompanist Alison Howell will be playing a piano solo: By the Still Water by Amy Beach. Ticket price includes a glass of wine or soft drink which will be served during the interval.
